Esther Martha Stace (nee Mumford) born 7 April 1871 at Port Macquarie daughter of Frederick and Margaret Mumford. An equestrian who set the record for a high jump side saddle at the Royal Agricultural Show in Sydney in 1815. In this photograph "Mrs Stace of Forbes, riding J.E. Judd's horse "Emu Plainsin the Women's World Championship high jump at Royal Agricultural Show Sydney". Setting a record by jumping six foot, six inches while side saddled.
